HELLO friends this has been my week so far. I hung out with Sharon and took her to the two community colleges around our area. I really needed this study break and it was so nice just hanging out and talking about life. (but tbh tho how is she graduated already and now going to college??????????? idk) Hanging out with winnie because that's all I do nowadays. Well except this past week. The height of my social life this summer tbh. Got breakfast with Jessica (Amanda she was my sg leader freshman year!) and it was so good catching up with her. This was at the Rose Cafe in San Jose.  Charlene and I made 汤圆 with black sesame and it tastes really good! They were really hard to make because they kept exploding. These were the good ones that stayed intact. It's been a real struggle waking up for church and finding the motivation to go, especially because I will most likely be going alone. pls pray that I wake up feeling well rested and that I make friends there

IT'S ALREADY JULY and I feel like summer is already ending. Gotta savor these summer moments while it's still here. Here are some pics from last week, but mostly this weekend because I'm still in academic solitary confinement rip. I saw this while walking Winnie! The sun was bright red fam. Got to catch up with Promise and Pat last Saturday and this is obviously a normal conversation between us. Yesterday, I went to the Alameda county fair with my family and it was so fun!! Can't believe week 1 of summer already passed. I tried to study last week but it was inefficient and unproductive. I think my body and brain were telling me that I need a break from finals. It was hard to delve straight into intense MCAT studying after a stressful finals week (and the quarter in general). I'm glad I listened to my body and gave myself some much needed rest. Instead of studying, I spent quality time with friends and family which was very valuable to me because as we grow older, it only gets harder to hangout with meet up with friends and family. It's been a week since school has ended and I'm already waist deep into MCAT studying. Here are some of my favorite moments from the past week. We watched the world cup together at Alisa's apartment with Michael's "frocking projector" and it was pretty great. I ended up making pesto pasta and salad for lunch and we all got to eat and hangout at grad after.  Brisa 2757's grad party was also super fun! Joseph's face For father's day, I watched some of the World Cup with my dad and went to Tomi for a huge sushi/Chinese food buffet dinner. We waited for an hour but the food was super worth it. It feels like its been forever since finals, I can't believe it's only been 1 week!  It's been really weird having time to relax over summer, since for the past two summers I've been gone right after school ended!  I have lots of work to do this summer, but none of it has gotten done yet 😆 The beach day with Christina was probably my favorite, I'm going to miss her when she leaves. I already miss you Michelle! It'll just be me and Promise this summer, we'll just go pick plums all day.  Can't wait to hear about your summers!
